Columbia: downtown and the Duck River
Columbia is the Maury County seat, with a historic downtown centered around the courthouse square. Shops, restaurants and cultural stops sit near the Duck River, and the Columbia Arts District is a few blocks from downtown. Riverwalk Park, northeast of the square, offers paved paths, open green space, picnic pavilions and a splash pad.
Start with a walk downtown and use the Welcome Center’s maps and visitor information to choose places you would like to visit. Then compare the routes from shortlisted homes to your everyday destinations. If you are moving within the city, check the residential sanitation signup and confirm service for the specific address. Ask Darryl about comparing Columbia homes around the places you visit most.

Spring Hill: parks and moving essentials
Spring Hill is south of Nashville and spans Maury and Williamson counties. For each home you consider, confirm its county, city limits and service providers rather than relying on the mailing address alone. The city lists Fischer Park with a walking trail, playground, splash pad and sports areas; Harvey Park has a trail, shelters and playground; Evans Park includes ballfields and Barkley Dog Park.
Explore the places that fit your routines and try your usual routes at the times you expect to travel. Travel times vary, so use your own observations when comparing homes. The city’s utility forms page links to residential water applications and trash and recycling schedules. Ask Darryl for an address-specific moving checklist and help comparing the properties on your shortlist.

Franklin: exploring historic downtown
Franklin is the Williamson County seat. Its historic downtown has shops, galleries, restaurants and entertainment, with official visitor resources to help you plan a visit. The Visit Franklin Visitor Center offers maps and information about places to explore. Use those resources to build a day around your own interests before comparing homes.
As you narrow your search, note which destinations matter most to you and check the routes from each property at the times you expect to travel. Confirm city services and other address-specific details directly with the relevant provider. A visitor guide describes places to explore; it does not determine whether a particular home fits your needs. Ask Darryl about your preferred property type, budget and the practical questions on your moving checklist.
